The Allegheny County Library Association sponsored a seminar on the future of libraries at the Green Tree Radisson, Saturday, December 6, 2008. Nationally known speakers, Michael Stephens, a professor at Dominican University in Illinois, and Futurist Thomas Frey from the DaVinci Institute in Colorado spoke at length about trends and issues that will impact library service and staff in the future.
