BIGGEST BOOKSALE EVER!!! Come One Come All!! To Avalon Library's Big BOOK SALE!!! The sale continues for 2 wks...this is our big event for fundraising. Come buy a bag of books for $3...or make us an offer! The Library will use your donations of gently used books to increase our permanent collection of library materials, books and audio-visuals.
The Avalon Library Tuesday Night Book Club meets at 6:30 pm.on the last Tuesday of the month in the conference room. Join our members for a lively discussion. Tuesday, 6:30 pm in the conference room.
ATTENTION TEENS AND TWEENS!! Saturday, November 15 is National Gaming Day at the Avalon Public Library! Join Avalon's Teen Council...as they sign up members... play some Dungeon's and Dragons, Picktureka!, and Magic. Play the Wii on our Big Screen TV and have some refreshments! 11:00 to 4 pm at the Avalon Library. Call for details: 412-761-2288.
The Avalon Library Mystery Book Club meets on Saturday, December 6, at 2 pm. December's book choice is "Murder In A Hot Flash: A Charlie Green Mystery"... by Marlys Millhiser. Come and join us for a lively discussion in the library's beautiful reading room!
