All good things come to those who wait..............................

The Children's Room's kids, parents, and staff have done more than their share of waiting:

• 1970 - The Children's Room is relocated to the auditorium temporarily.
• 1980 - Vestibule walls removed and walls brightly painted.
• 1990s- The collection has tripled; elevator and computers added.
• 1995 - 2005 - The main floor is refurbished and returned to its original glory.
• 2000s - Carpeting destroyed; books overflowing, floor/seating space limited and programs crowded.

And here are the plans..........................................

• Add moveable shelving to free up space for programs.
• Make the computers wireless to allow for a better arrangement and staff monitoring.
• Create a new story area for mom and kids.
• Add storage for programming materials.
• Carpet, paint and brighten floors and walls.
• Create a wonderful space for the kids and their families.
