How Teen Summer Reading Works

Before You Begin

• You must be a teen: ages 13-19.
• You must have a library card. If you don't have one, you can get one for free: you just need an official piece of ID to verify your address.
• Everything you'll need is on the YA Bulletin Board: registration forms, book ballots, and prize information!
  

Start Now!

1. Fill out a registration form, and put it in the return envelope. Everyone who registers gets a poster of Jaromir Jagr. To receive your poster, bring your registration form to the reference desk!
2. Read a book. Or 2, or 5, or 25! Need a suggestion? Click here.
   
3. Fill out a ballot for each book read and enter it in the box for the prize you want to win. Only one ballot may be filled out for each book.
   
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 all summer long. You may enter as many times as you wish.
