Book Memorials

Honor the memory of a loved one, friend, family member, or business associate with a contribution to the Northern Tier Regional Library.

Gifts in any amount are welcome, and with each gift an acknowledgement card will be sent to the family.

With a donation of $15 or more, you can establish a book memorial. As a lasting tribute, a bookplate is placed in the new book with the name of the honored person and the donor's name.

To set up a memorial, simply complete the form below and return it to the library. For more information, call the library at 724-449-2665.

Book Donations

The library accepts donations of new or used books, music, DVDs, and magazines. The items may be chosen to be added to the library collection or may be added to the annual book sale.

The library does not accept books that have a lot of structural damage, yellowing pages, or writing or highlighting. The library also does not accept magazine that are more than a year old, VHS tapes, or old text books.

The library is particularly interested in books with local historical significance as well as local high school yearbooks.

Patrons making donations to the library may request a donation slip, signed by a staff member, for tax purposes.
